Humilitarian - my latest (and last?) politically motivated project
Updated: Oct 15, 2020
Quietly in the background of my life over the last year and a half or so, I've been working with volunteers to whom I am profoundly grateful, on what I hope will become the most important thing I've done to date.
As you probably know if you're reading this, I'm interested in using political psychology to bring together people across ideological differences.
America is more divided than it has been in living memory and our politics has become not even zero-sum: it has become negative-sum.
This project is called humilitarian and it launched last week to solve that problem and to make American politics positive-sum again.
Here I am, explaining the motivation for, and point of, this effort.
I'm not trying to persuade you of anything.
I'm just trying to find those who already believe in these deeper-than-politics principles, and to give them a way of identifying each other, trusting each other, trusting each other, and working together - despite our political differences.
Once a million Americans declare, "I am a #humilitarian", the way politics is done will change for good.
How will that work? Find out at www.humilitarian.us.
